“Environmental Risk Factors of Wilms Tumour.
Felix M. Onyije, Liacine Bouanoun, Ann Olsson, Roya Dolatkhah, and Joachim Schüz from IARC – International Agency for Research on Cancer / World Health Organization, recently published a systemic review and meta-analysis of Wilms Tumor studies.
Their study summarized many associations between environmental factors and Wilms Tumor in children in order to update previous reviews and include new potential risk factors.
Research like this on the causes of childhood cancer is crucial in identifying venues for primary prevention of the disease.”
