  • Burden of illness: No/mild = 5, Moderate = 3, Severe = 0
  • No hypotension: +5 points
  • No COPD: +4 points
  • No dehydration: +3 points
  • Solid tumor/no fungal infection: +4 points
  • Outpatient at onset: +3 points
  • Age <60 years: +2 points

Risk Classification:

  • Low risk: ≥21 points (suitable for outpatient management)
  • High risk: <21 points (requires inpatient management)
