Two-year RCPSC-approved CGSO fellowship (2023) accepting 1 fellow per year, with training across two high-volume cancer centers (CHUM and HMR) serving Montreal and the province of Quebec. Rotations span colorectal, upper GI, peritoneal surface malignancies, sarcoma, melanoma, HPB, and breast, plus one-month blocks in radiation oncology, medical oncology, and pathology. ~5–6 months of electives (including minimally invasive/HPB/gastric/sarcoma/peritoneal/oncoplastic breast/head & neck or research) may be done in Montreal or internationally. Strong multidisciplinary focus and required proficiency in French.
Eligibility Criteria:

Completion (or anticipated completion) of a recognized general surgery residency.

Proficiency in spoken and written French (interviews conducted in French).

Program fully RCPSC-approved; ACGME recognizes RCPSC CGSO training (reciprocity in place).

Nationals and internationals may apply; candidates are interviewed and ranked via NRMP.
