Angelica Samudio: First Comprehensive Wellness Center for Children with Cancer in Paraguay
Angelica Samudio, Medical Director of Renaci Foundation, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A dream come true: We inaugurate the First Comprehensive Wellness Center for Children with Cancer in Paraguay.
Today we are living a historic moment for the fight against childhood cancer in our country. From the Renaci Foundation, with the support of allies, volunteers and the community, we inaugurated the First Comprehensive Wellness Center for Children with Cancer and their Families.
This space was born with a clear purpose: to provide medical, psychosocial, educational, rehabilitation, and research care, in an environment that accompanies each stage of treatment with dignity, hope, and love.
Childhood cancer is not only fought in hospitals; It also copes with emotional support, educational opportunities, and a safe environment that embraces each child and their family. This center represents our commitment to bridging gaps and ensuring that no child is left behind.
Thank you to all those who made this dream possible: authorities, allies, donors, volunteers and, above all, the families who inspire us to continue.”
