Hesham ElGhazaly: Global Inclusion in Clinical Trials at Vision Europe 2025
Hesham ElGhazaly, Professor of Clinical Oncology at Ain Shams University and the Founder and CEO of Alfa Cure Oncology Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Honored to have spoken today, September 2nd, at Vision Europe 2025 in Brussels on the session: ‘Democratizing Trials: Blueprint for Inclusion.’
We explored how global support can play a pivotal role in advancing inclusion in clinical trials, particularly across LMICs and Africa, and in building sustainable research infrastructure.
I was proud to highlight the progress and real-life advancements achieved in Egypt as an example of what can be accomplished when collaboration, vision, and commitment come together.
Grateful to the European Alliance for Personalized Medicine (EAPM), the International Cancer Patients Coalition (ICPC), and Denis Horgan for the opportunity to join the esteemed faculty and for their efforts to promote inclusion on a global scale to help shaping futuristic and innovative research landscape…
It was an honor to contribute to advancing the call for inclusion, innovation, and equity in research, and to support the momentum toward a truly global and inclusive research ecosystem without borders.”
