Ashley Odai-Afotey to Research Health Equity in Cancer Pain Management and a Weight Loss intervention – Dana-Farber’s Breast Oncology Center

“Meet Dr. Ashley Odai-Afotey, an Olney/Silver Spring MD native, who graduated summa cum laude in Biological Sciences from Cornell University, went on to earn her MD at Yale School of Medicine, and completed her internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Currently, she is an advanced fellow in the Breast Oncology Center and a fellow in the T32 Training in Oncology Population Sciences (TOPS) program.
Her research focuses on Health Equity, with current projects evaluating racial and ethnic disparities in Cancer Pain management and a weight loss intervention.”
