Lisa Lacasse: Highlighting the Potential of Multi-Cancer Early Detection Tests
Lisa Lacasse, President of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), shared a post by American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, adding:
“American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network urges Congress to pass the Nancy Gardner Sewell Medicare Multi-Cancer Early Detection Screening Coverage Act. MCED tests could be a major breakthrough in reducing the cancer burden—but only if people can access them.”
Quoting American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network‘s post:
“Did you know that scientists are developing new blood tests that will screen for dozens of cancers at once? It may sound too good to be true, but it’s real progress happening right now. Diagnosing cancer early, when it’s easier to treat, can save lives.”
