Sean Khozin: Project Data Sphere’s bold expedition with Qure.ai to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar
Sean Khozin, Chief Executive Officer at CEO Roundtable on Cancer, shared on LinkedIn:
“CEO Roundtable on Cancer‘s (CEORT) independent data analytics organization, Project Data Sphere (PDS), recently participated in a bold expedition with Qure.ai and others to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar. This journey transcended physical challenges, aiming to introduce AI-enabled diagnostic imaging to remote regions, where radiologists are scarce and healthcare access is limited.
The team successfully demonstrated AI’s potential to democratize access to vital diagnostics services in one of the world’s most isolated areas. By leveraging AI to detect conditions like tuberculosis and pneumonia, this mission exemplified technology’s power to bridge critical healthcare gaps.
CEORT and PDS are focused on advancing AI tools that promise more accessible and tailored healthcare solutions while supporting the discovery and development of the next-generation of breakthroughs in cancer care and research. We are committed to promoting the responsible use of AI, ensuring the technology works in symbiosis with human interests and expertise.
We envision a future where quality care transcends geographical boundaries, bringing hope and healing to communities worldwide while maintaining a balance between technological progress and human-centered care. ”
