Raffaele Colombo: Phase 1b Trial Results of Iza-Bren in Extensive-Stage SCLC

Raffaele Colombo, Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Zymeworks Inc., shared on X:

“Phase 1b of Iza-Bren in patients with ES-SCLC published on Journal of Clinical Oncology!

Iza-Bren designed to simultaneously engage both EGFR and HER3 (high affinity for EGFR, low affinity for HER3), topo1 payload Interesting discussion on the correlation between EGFR/HER3 expression and activity.

Caveat: small sample size.

In previous biomarker analysis of Iza-bren in ESCC, no relationship was noticed between EGFR or HER3 expression and antitumor responses.”
