Lyusiya’s story with her medal as a symbol of her victory in these fights – City of Smile Charitable Foundation

City of Smile Charitable Foundation made the following post on Facebook:

“We want to share Lyusiya’s story with you.

Years ago, our strong girl received treatment at the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia, with the financial support of City of Smile Foundation. She won cancer and returned home to Artsakh. She hung her photo on the symbolic tree of life of the Center and surely received her medal.

Unfortunately, last year, Lyusiya’s family, among many others, was displaced from Artsakh, and they had to leave everything behind, including her cherished medal. Lyusiya was very upset for leaving the medal there, and it was decided to award her another medal as a symbol of her victory in these fights.”
