Johan Lundin: An AI model designed to improve the prediction of colorectal cancer recurrence

Johan Lundin, Professor at Karolinska Institute and Research Director at FIMM, posted on LinkedIn:

“As a co-founder of Aiforia I’m thrilled that the Mayo Clinic has in collaboration with Aiforia developed an AI model designed to improve the prediction of colorectal cancer recurrence.

This AI model identifies a series of tissue features of colorectal cancer and combines them with clinical variables, to provide a recurrence prediction estimate to be used for treatment decisions.
