Anju Aledia: Celebrating Strength, Unity, and Hope Among Children Fighting Cancer
Anju Aledia, Teacher and North India Regional Education Coordinator at CanKids KidsCan, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“At CanKids KidsCan “A Home Away from Home” unit, children from across the country are courageously fighting cancer — far from their hometowns, but never far from love.
This Rakshabandhan, they found brothers and sisters in each other.
Through shared learning, they discovered the true spirit of the festival. Using simple, available materials, they poured their hearts into crafting beautiful rakhis – each one a symbol of innocence, strength, and love.
Today, they tied those rakhis, shared sweets, laughter, and a sense of togetherness that lit up the entire space.
Even in the face of life’s toughest battles, it’s the bonds we build that shine the brightest.
Let’s continue to spread hope, smiles, and the spirit of unity.”
