
Santosh Rao Joined to the HemOnc Department at Cleveland Clinic Akron General as the Medical Director

“Please join us in welcoming Santosh Rao to the HemOnc Department at Cleveland Clinic Akron General as the Medical Director. Dr. Rao brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team.
Dr. Rao holds a Medical Degree from the University of Michigan and has completed his Residency at the University of California. He furthered his training with an Associate Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona and a Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center.
With a background as the Robert and Melissa Shearer Master Clinician in Integrative Oncology and expertise as a genitourinary cancer expert, Dr. Rao’s contributions have been invaluable. He now assumes the role of Medical Director of the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Akron General, in addition he will have a dedicated clinic day at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in the GU Program.
