Nikita Baclig Honored to Present the Findings From NCCN Best Practices Committee at ASCO25
Nikita Baclig, Clinical Fellow at UCLA Healthб shared a post on X:
“Was an honor to present the findings from our NCCN Best Practices Committee survey evaluating changes in Oncofertility care at Member Institutions after the overturn of Roe v. Wade. A very early look at this important AYA issue!”
Abner Antonio Murray, Hematology/Oncology Fellow at UNC School of Medicine, shared this post, on X, adding:
“Absolutely phenomenal work by Nikita Baclig at ASCO25 highlighting how the fall of Roe v. Wade is reshaping oncofertility care.
62.5% of NCCN centers reported an in cancer patients pursuing fertility preservation.
Yet response rates from states with restricted abortion access were low—raising red flags.
This is about more than policy—it’s about access, equity, and the future of AYA cancer care.”
