American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Thrilled to see a wave of ACS CAN volunteers on Capitol Hill today!
Our cancer advocates attended the Senate Appropriations LHHS Subcommittee hearing to support the critical need for Cancer Research funding for The National Institutes of Health. This is key to ending cancer as we know it, for everyone.
Thank you to Senate Appropriations Chair Senator Collins and Vice Chair Senator Murray, and LHHS Subcommittee Chair Senator Capito and Ranking Member Senator Baldwin for holding this hearing and opening the floor to the importance of cancer research funding for NIH.”
