Douglas Flora: What a surreal and powerful experience visiting the headquarters of Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. and interacting with the incredible AIPO team
Douglas Flora, Executive Medical Director and Editor-in-Chief of AI in Precision Oncology, made the following post on LinkedIn:
“What a surreal and powerful experience visiting the headquarters of Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. and interacting with the incredible AIPO team. The highlight? Receiving the first printed copy of our eagerly anticipated preview issue from my dear friend Sophie Reisz, the driving force behind this journal and team.
With almost 10k preview copies set to be mailed out next week, and institutional librarians subscribing at a brisk pace, I sincerely hope the message from my “welcome” editorial in this new journal resonates and is widely shared: “In essence, AI in Precision Oncology is more than just a scientific or medical journal; it is a mission-driven initiative to harness the power of AI in improving oncology care. In the process, we aim to shape an AI-enabled health care system that is equitable, efficient, and patient centered—making health care more human.”
