Atrium Health Levine Cancer team was awarded the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Best Practices Award
Atrium Health shared on LinkedIn:
“Congratulations to the Atrium Health Levine Cancer team for being awarded the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Best Practices Award. Levine Cancer is one of only six in the entire country to receive this award.
This award recognizes the team’s success in creating and implementing an in-house genotyping program at Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte. Research presented nationally at ASCO show that the testing program has resulted in fewer side effects for cancer patients and hospitalizations.
Congratulations to teammates from cancer pharmacology and pharmacogenomics; pharmacy; solid tumor oncology; the molecular biology and genomics core lab; and all who contributed to the research and program growth!”
