Zacharoula Sidiropoulou Joins OncoDaily to Discuss Value-Based Cancer Care

Zacharoula Sidiropoulou, Senior Consultant Breast Surgical Oncologist at Hospital São Francisco Xavier, shared on LinkedIn:

“Today I’ll be joining the OncoDaily Community Oncology Global Congress 2026 for a conversation on something I care deeply about:

Value-Based Cancer Care and Real-World Evidence: Measuring Outcomes That Matter

We talk a lot about value in cancer care, though behind the indicators, dashboards and models, there is a much simpler issue:

Are we measuring what really matters to patients and are we using that information to make care better?

I’m looking forward to discussing this with colleagues from community oncology, haematology, implementation science and care delivery, and to bringing the perspective of breast surgical oncology and the patient journey.

Because value is not created by one intervention, one consultation or one metric. It is created across the whole pathway in the decisions we make, the information we give, the delays we avoid and the outcomes patients actually experience.

Looking forward to the conversation with Brian Bourbeau, Kashyap Patel, Zaid Abdel Rahman, Jahan Aghalar and Jonathan Ticku.”
