Reflections on Collaboration and Standardized Care for Children in Nepal – World Child Cancer

World Child Cancer shared a post on LinkedIn:

“When clinicians, policymakers, and partners align, national standards for childhood cancer become possible🇳🇵

Our incredible Programme Officer in Nepal, Reena Khulal, reflects on hosting the first Review Meeting on the Standardization of Burkitt Lymphoma Treatment Guidelines in Nepal – a major milestone toward consistent, equitable care for children across the country.

Facilitated by World Child Cancer, the meeting brought together pediatric oncologists, surgeons, nurses, pharmacists, pathologists, radiologists, hospital leaders, and policymakers to collaboratively shape national treatment guidelines.

We’re grateful to our partners Ramesh Gupta Memorial Trust, Together Against Childhood Cancer, and the generous support of Amgen (Sean Lybrand, Philip Anderson), whose collaboration made this important meeting possible.

Read Reena’s reflections on collaboration, multidisciplinary care, and why standardized guidelines matter for children across Nepal.”
