William Dale, Professor and Vice Chair for Academic Affairs and Director, Center for Cancer and Aging at City of Hope, shared on LinkedIn:
“I love working with those brilliant young leaders in the field of cancer and aging – in this case, Drs. Cris Bergerot, and Enrique Soto Perez de Celis. I also love creating new knowledge for older patients, through showing the value of the Geriatric Assessment and Management (GAM) for minimizing toxicities, and disseminating the Practical Geriatric Assessment (PGA) to as many older adults as possible.
Here, we explain how to make GAM and PGA available to as many people as possible through the use of technology, independent of resources. We are thankful to American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) for being our partners in this. We are also thankful to the Cancer and Aging Research Group (CARG) for providing the infrastructure to bring us together.
We invite you to take a few minutes to read about how this standard of care is being implemented anywhere. Let us know if you are interested in knowing more.”
