Puneet Sharma: Early Action Makes the Cancer Journey Easier

Puneet Sharma, Charter President of the Rotary Club of Gurgaon BraveHearts, Founder and CEO of BraveHearts Cancer24x7 Foundation, shared on LinkedIn:

Two Women. Two Stories. One Powerful Choice.

Cancer doesn’t always come with a family history. And sometimes, the difference between an easier journey and a more difficult one can simply be early action.

One woman knew her family history, stayed alert, and got a mammogram. Her cancer was detected at Stage 1.

The other had no family history and never imagined cancer could happen to her. A delay in check-up and treatment allowed the disease to progress towards Stage 3.

The message is simple:

  • Know your body.
  • Know the signs.
  • Get regular screenings.
  • Don’t delay evaluation or treatment.

Family history or not, early action makes all the difference.

Let’s spread awareness. Let’s encourage screening.
Awareness today can save your tomorrow.
