- Megan Smith presented on new results on screening in vaccinated populations in the UK, on test-of-cure after treatment in Australia, and on the cost-effectiveness of the PREVENT study in a remote Indigenous community in Australia
- Tay Za Kyi Win presented on premature mortality from cancer (including cervical cancer) in fragile and conflict-afflicted settings
- Michaela Hall‘s new results on the impact of US HIV funding cuts on cervical cancer were presented by Kate Simms – and this won a best early career researcher oral presentation award!
- Kate Simms presented our new results for modelling supporting new WHO guidelines for extended genotyping options for cervical screening
- Daniela Rivas Romero presented early estimates on the lives saved to date via HPV vaccination in low-and-lower-middle-income countries
- Chloe Jennett presented on factors associated with awareness and adoption of HPV self-collection for women in Australia
- Monjura Nisha presented on understanding determinants of switching to self-collection for cervical screening in Australia
- Susan Yuill presented on the impact of HPV vaccination on precancer treatment rates in women in Australia
- Deborah Bateson AM and I facilitated a packed session on hashtag#EPICC – the Elimination Partnership in the Indo-Pacific for Cervical Cancer, with an amazing panel – Rachel Devi, Su Pei Khoo, Andrew Vallely and Marion Saville
- I presented emerging results from our major Australian trial, Compass – on screening in a vaccinated population, on behalf of my co-PI Prof Marion Saville, trial statistician Michael Caruana and our many collaborators.
