Enes Erul, Oncology Fellow at Ankara University, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“My first ESMO – I’m leaving with wonderful memories and renewed motivation to work even harder.
With over 35,000 participants, it was an extraordinary congress where hopes for our patients continue to grow. Having the opportunity to present and to be honored with a Merit Award was an incredible experience; feeling the support of my mentors and colleagues behind me is truly priceless.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude, first and foremost, to my mentor Prof. Yüksel ÜRÜN, who has supported and guided me in every aspect throughout my subspecialty training; to the Ankara University Oncology family, my esteemed professors, and all my fellow colleagues with whom I share this journey. I am also deeply proud to be part of the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology, and I sincerely thank everyone who contributed and supported this work.
Life is short – I’ve come to realize once again that striving to be good and be remembered well is what truly matters.
Above all, I owe endless gratitude to my life partner, my greatest luck, and my unwavering supporter – my beloved wife, and to my family for their unconditional love.”
