“Fantastic to come together with experts and forward thinking researchers on tackling some of the most important questions facing breast cancer today at The Breast Cancer Research Foundation scientific meeting.
In our session on ctDNA MRD, focusing on potentially stopping or tailoring down therapy, we heard exciting work from Stefania Morganti, Ben Park, Laura van ‘t Veer.

Key outstanding questions
- Can we achieve ‘acceptable agreement’ among high sensitivity ctDNA MRD assays so we do not need to repeat every study w every assay?
- Can we confirm that if patients stop or pause therapy that they will re-respond if/when evidence of cancer emerges?
- How can we coalesce internationally to evaluate high priority questions, like stopping therapy for patients with HER2 positive metastatic breast cancer exceptional response?”
