The American Cancer Society National Lung Cancer Roundtable strategic plan: Strengthening connections between state-based initiatives.
The work of the American Cancer Society National Lung Cancer Roundtable (ACS NLCRT) State-Based Initiatives (SBI) Task Group involves addressing the complexities of lung cancer prevention, care, and research while accounting for the unique environments within different states and regions.
To operationalize this work, authors have developed a cyclical framework that prioritizes focus areas, establishes a structure to collaborate on projects, provides support, incorporates findings into existing tools, and disseminates results.
This work aims to delineate the structure and logistics of the ACS NLCRT SBI Task Group, including using a five-step cyclical model for learning and information dissemination to serve as a model for other diverse coalitions.
