Oncology community on Juneteenth
Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. Juneteenth is celebrated with gatherings, and reflections on African American history and culture, focusing on the ongoing struggle for equality and justice. It serves as a reminder of the resilience of the African American community and the ongoing journey towards racial equality.
