Marcus Skribek: I will be joining MSKCC as a Research Fellow
Marcus Skribek shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m delighted to announce that I will be joining Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), a global leader in cancer care, as a Research Fellow through the end of June. This position offers me an extraordinary opportunity to delve into the complexities of oncology, gaining direct insight into the multifaceted approaches used to manage and treat various cancers in New York City.
In addition to my role at MSKCC, I will also be collaborating with fantastic colleagues at the Jason Lewis Lab at the Mortimer B. Zuckerman Research Center. Here, I’ll be immersed in pioneering work on radiotheranostics—a revolutionary blend of diagnostic imaging and targeted therapy. This innovative technique employs radioactive molecules for both visualization and precise treatment of cancer cells, embodying the essence of precision medicine.
I will be focusing on DLL3 in small cell lung cancer—a promising biomarker that offers new hope in the diagnosis and treatment of this aggressive disease. I am eager to contribute to the development of impactful therapies that may greatly improve patient outcomes.
I am excited to join forces with the dedicated team at MSKCC and to contribute to the transformative research being conducted. This role not only allows me to expand my expertise in oncology but also opens doors for future collaborations with Karolinska Institutet and Karolinska University Hospital.
I am enthusiastic about beginning this journey and grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients.”
