“The management of EGFR-mutant NSCLC has rapidly progressed in recent years across the stages, leading to enhanced survival results for patients and setting the stage for other oncogene drivers.
Despite these achievements, numerous hurdles persist, such as tailoring treatment recommendations to individuals and enhancing patient selection, preferably employing biomarker-guided methods.
Future research should also assess approaches to reduce treatment side effects to ensure that patients not only survive longer but also experience a better quality of life.”
