Cancer Institute NSW shared a post on LinkedIn:
“NSW Cancer Summit 2025 – that’s a wrap!
This event was the first of its kind for the Cancer Institute NSW and it was incredible to bring together many leading minds from across the entire spectrum of cancer control.
Over 2 days we saw:
- 60+ local, national and international speakers
- Addresses from Hon. Ryan Park MP, NSW Minister for Health and NSW Health Secretary, Susan Pearce AM
- 70 oral presentations
- 255 abstract poster presentations
- 3 major sponsors
- 12 trade displays
Furthermore we acknowledge and thank the 40+ staff dedicated to making this event possible, and the people impacted by cancer who shared their time and stories.
Swipe through and see some of the event highlights.”
Nikola Bowden, Vanessa McGuigan HMRI Fellow in Ovarian Cancer at University of Newcastle, shared Cancer Institute NSW’s post on LinkedIn:
“The inaugural NSW Cancer Summit 2025 was a great opportunity to share the many years of work my research team has done on melanoma and ovarian cancer discovery research through to clinical trials.
It was also the first conference for 2 of our new PhD students.
I also had the privilege of being at the Summit as the Lead of the CINSW funded NSW Regional Cancer Research Network and Co-Chair of the EMCR engaging with consumers workshop. It has been a very inspiring and emotional 2 days with both of my wonderful teams.”
