What Happens to the Donations and Sponsorships Received? – Dăruiește Viață

Dăruiește Viață shared a post on LinkedIn:

“What happens to the donations and sponsorships received? It translates into faster diagnoses and extra chances at life for children.

We have started equipping the anatomopathology laboratory of the Marie Curie Hospital with modern equipment.
What does this mean concretely?

  •  Reduced time for sample processing
  •  Faster and more accurate results
  •  Correct diagnosis, established on time

Over 4,000 samples are analyzed annually in this laboratory, and each child treated here has, thanks to you, an extra chance at life.
Thank you for being part of Noi

Carmen Uscatu, Founding Member and President of Give Life, shared a post by Dăruiește Viață, adding:

“Scientific uncertainty is no excuse for inaction.

Cancer isn’t 100% curable. Yet.

At the same time, some parts of the world are way ahead in treating childhood cancer compared to others. That’s why Dăruiește Viață teamed up with the very best in the world in treating childhood cancer: Prinses Máxima Centrum voor kinderoncologie . They’re literally saving kids across Europe and beyond.

And beating cancer starts with catching it right. A good diagnosis isn’t just important, it’s everything. That’s why we worked with Prof. Ronald de Krijger & his great team, from Prinses Máxima Centrum voor kinderoncologie, to build the lab at Marie Curie Children’s Hospital. For our children’s chances.

Cancer’s still not 100% beatable. Yet.
But first? We’re closing that 11% survival gap between survival for children with cancer in Eastern and Western Europe. Together with our partner, Prinses Máxima Centrum voor kinderoncologie &prof. dr. Rob Pieters, we’re rolling up our sleeves to cure every child. We act. Because it’s about hope. Hope that the future means 100% survival for every kid.”
