Alisher Kahharov: An Exceptional Experience Visiting the Private Practice of Benjamin Sarfati
Alisher Kahharov, Vice Director in Strategic Development Affairs at OncoSchool by Djamila Polatova, and National Representative at the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO), shared a post on Facebook:
“I am pleased to share an exceptional experience visiting the private practice of Pr. Benjamin Sarfati, a leading Plastic and Oncologic Breast Surgeon. With deep gratitude to Professor Yazan Masannat and Professor Régis Paulinelli for their recommendations and contacts, I had the opportunity to learn from one of the leaders in the field of minimally invasive breast surgery.
Pr. Benjamin Sarfati, the founder of the MIB Center and the MIB Meeting, is renowned for his expertise in oncologic and reconstructive breast surgery, as well as robotic surgery. He has innovated a new technique for robotic-assisted mastectomy and immediate breast reconstruction, continually pushing the boundaries to improve patient outcomes.
As the Head of the Breast Reconstruction University Diploma at Gustave Roussy, Dr. Sarfati is not only advancing surgical techniques but also educating the next generation of surgeons on these pioneering methods. His platforms, the MIB Center and MIB Meeting, serve as critical hubs for collaboration and innovation in minimally invasive breast surgery.
During my visit, I was fortunate to receive invaluable insights from Dr. Nataliya Shtypuk, who answered all my questions, and Dr. Monica Vappiani, a trainee of Professor Sarfati, who shared her experiences.
Additionally, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Claire Balleux, a specialist in creating temporary personalized nipple-areolar complexes and tattooing reconstructed nipples and areolas. Her expertise provided a fresh perspective on this critical aspect of breast reconstruction, and her insights are highly recommended to anyone interested in this field.
This encounter has broadened my perspective and deepened my commitment to advancing in the field of breast surgery, guided by the standards of excellence embodied by Pr. Benjamin Sarfati.”
