Paolo Tarantino: Proud to be part of the Italian winners of the ASCO Conquer Merit Award 2025
Paolo Tarantino, Advanced Research Fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Proud to be part of the Italian winners of the ASCO Conquer Merit Award 2025!
The papers I will present at this year’s congress exemplify my scientific mission:
- Develop new conjugated antibodies to improve the prognosis of breast cancer patients.
- Validate biomarkers that allow personalization of antibody conjugate therapies.
- Identify subgroups of patients for whom “less is more” — i.e. chemotherapy can be omitted without risk.
A long and tortuous path, made possible by multiple mentors, the funds donated for research and the courageous patients who participate in our research.
Thank you Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation for the award and thank you Irma D’Aria and La Repubblica for the mention. Link.”
“The numbers: 6/16 trained in the Oncology Specialization School of the University of Milan – State University!”
