Randy Taplitz is Recognized as Congressional Woman of the Year by Rep. Judy Chu – City of Hope
City of Hope shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Please join us in congratulating Randy Taplitz, M.D., chair and professor in the Department of Medicine at City of Hope, on being a recipient of Congresswoman Judy Chu’s Congressional Women of the Year Award.
This year’s award recognizes women who played a significant role in responding to the Eaton Fire to uplift residents in Altadena and Pasadena. Dr. Taplitz was one of many who lost their home during the fire. But despite that heartbreak, she remained focused on supporting her patients, ensuring they received the care they needed.
Congratulations, Dr. Taplitz! We’re incredibly proud of what you did — and continue to do — for City of Hope patients and the communities we serve.”
Saro Armenian, Barron Hilton Chair and Professor of Pediatrics, Department of Pediatrics at City of Hope, shared this post, adding:
“Randy Taplitz represents the best of us!
Well-deserved.”
