High throughput Histopathology Systems are fundamental to Cancer Diagnosis – Inequalities to access amongst High and Low-Middle Income Countries are Predominant – Is AI the Equaliser to make sure No One is Left Behind?
Aaditya Tiwari from Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust and the Barts Cancer Institute (Queen Mary University of London) masterminded and put together ‘The Current Landscape of Artificial Intelligence in Computational Histopathology for Cancer Diagnosis’ with Maryam Hasanova from UCL, Dr. Srishti Mohapatra from University of Hertfordshire, Sara Faria Fisiotera Socorro Faria from University of Brazil, Sola Adeleke from King’s College London Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, Professor Stergios Boussios from Kent and Medway Medical School University of Kent Canterbury Christ Church University and myself Barts Health NHS Trust UKI Global Cancer Network European Cancer Organisation.
It was also OncoFlow’s first publication and a mini collaboration with our friends at Curenetics – this also symbolises the importance of fostering Clinical – Academic – Industry Collaboration.”
