She is a doer, and at ECO we have much to do. She is just the person we need to help guide our organisation and its mission of improving cancer care through our unique multi-professional, multi-disciplined, and people-focused approach.”

Dr. Dégi László Csaba serves as the President of the European Cancer Organisation and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes (OECI). He is also an expert for the CCI4EU project and a board member for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at COM’ON CLUJ NEXT.
Additionally, Dr. Csaba is a full-time IPOS Secretary and Executive Officer, as well as a board member for the International Psycho-Oncology Society (IPOS). He is also involved with the Journal of Psychosocial Oncology Research and Practice.
Elisabetta Zanon is the Chief Executive Officer of the European Cancer Organisation and Director of EU Public Affairs and Advocacy at the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine. She previously served as Director of Advocacy and Head of the Brussels Office for the European Society of Cardiology.
With experience at the European level, she has a proven track record in strategic development, organizational governance, team leadership, business planning, and budget management. Her work spans medical societies, patient organizations, academia, and therapeutic development.
