Dean Crowe won the inaugural Social Impact Award from the Harvard Business School Club of Atlanta
Dean Crowe, Founder & CEO Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“To say I was shocked to win the inaugural Social Impact Award from the Harvard Business School Club of Atlanta is an understatement. The icing on the cake was having my 88-year-old Daddy there. As we approach Thanks giving, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the HBS Club of Atlanta for their investment in me years ago.
The week that I spent a week in Boston as a scholarship winner to attend the Harvard Business School Executive Education has impacted Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research and the families fighting the childhood cancer beast every single day.
Rally’s national advocacy work is a direct result of that week. Over the past seven years, Rally has advocated and secured more than $223 million in new federal funding from the Department of Defense Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs for cancers in children, adolescents and young adults that is paid directly to vetted researchers.
I am so thankful for the investment that the HBS Club of Atlanta makes in non-profit leaders.”
