Mental health is essential for everyone, but for breast cancer patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals in oncology, it becomes even more critical.
Coping with a cancer diagnosis, managing treatment, supporting loved ones, or delivering care in high-stress environments can take a significant toll on emotional well-being.
That’s why, since 2023, we have established the Patient Indication and Psycological Support Unit at the Breast Cancer Comprehensive Cancer Center of the National Cancer Institute, Cairo University.
Our mission is to provide holistic care that addresses not only physical health but also the mental and emotional challenges faced by our patients, their families, and the dedicated professionals who support them.
Let’s prioritize mental health today and every day. Together, we can foster strength, resilience, and hope in the fight against cancer.”
