Raising Awareness for Head and Neck Cancer – European Cancer Organisation
European Cancer Organisation (ECO) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Did you know that 60% of people diagnosed at an advanced stage of head and neck cancers die within 5 years, yet 80–90% survive when caught early?
From 15-20 September, we mark Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week, a vital moment to raise awareness of a disease that remains under-recognised, yet life-threatening when detected late.
We’re proud to support the Make Sense Campaign led by our member, the European Head and Neck Society (EHNS), to spotlight prevention, early detection and the importance of knowing the signs.
The latest facts, helpful activities and valuable resources will follow shortly.”
