Flora Gabtony: Why I called Cancer my Gift

Flora Gabtony shared a post on LinkedIn:

“What gave you the nerve to call Cancer a Gift?

Why did you call Cancer your Gift?

Who told you that anything positive would come out of something that was meant to kill you?

These questions and more are what I get from people who wonder why I called Cancer my Gift.

Today, as I celebrate both my birthday and 2 years of going public with my cancer journey, I want to share the answer with you.

Join me this evening for an inspiring virtual event. No scripts… Just sharing from my Heart!

I’ll share my journey as a Cancer Warrior, the mindset that helped me heal from within, and why mental strength is the greatest support you can give yourself in the face of adversity.

This is an opportunity to raise awareness about the mindset of healing and what it means to truly flourish even in the midst of life’s toughest challenges.

For me – Cancer isn’t just a medical condition—it’s any challenge that eats away at our peace, whether it’s financial struggles, strained relationships, career instability, or family worries. We all face our cancers.

Hence, this is for all of us. Let’s create a ripple of strength and inspiration to discover how to heal from the inside out, no matter what your cancer

When: Today Monday 30th September at 5pm
Where: LinkedIn and Facebook Live – Flora Gabtony

Do you have any questions about my Cancer Journey, Resilience, Grit, Lifestyle changes, Mind Healing, etc.? Use the link in the comment to share your questions. I will answer them during the Live show!

Come with an open mind, and let’s change the way we see life’s most challenging battles together.

See you there and Invite others!”
