“The wait is over! The Intramural Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences program is accepting applications through November 25!
iCURE provides mentored research experiences for qualified students and scientists from diverse backgrounds on National Cancer Institute (NCI) campuses in Maryland.
Interested in applying to be part of the next cohort of iCURE scholars? Here’s what you need to know!
1. First, all prospective applicants are encouraged to register for the pre-application webinar next Wednesday, October 2 at 3:00 pm ET to learn about the application process.
2. iCURE provides support for students and scientists from diverse backgrounds at different career and education levels, including:
– Two-year awards to post-baccalaureate (including post-Master’s) individuals
– Two-year awards to graduate students
– Three-year awards to postdoctoral fellows
– Professional and career development support
– Connection to an extensive and sustaining mentoring network
3. iCURE applications must be submitted by Nov. 25, 2024. The target start date is Sept. 1, 2025.
