Robert Dittus, MD, MPH, is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health in the Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
He has served as the chief of general internal medicine at Vanderbilt, the founding director of the Vanderbilt Center for Health Services Research the founding director of the Vanderbilt Institute for Medicine and Public Health and the founding director of the Tennessee Valley Geriatric Research. He is an elected member of the Association of American Physicians.
