Lacy Hubbard: Urgent need for better access to cancer care in Africa

Lacy Hubbard shared on LinkedIn:

“My friend shared this video with me. Hearing Brenda cry for help made my heart ache. It underscored the urgent need for better access to cancer care in Africa. While it’s devastating to see the consequences of inadequate treatment, it also strengthens our resolve to do more. Cervical cancer is highly preventable and curable if detected early.

Yet, every two minutes, a woman loses her life to this terrible disease. That is why the World Health Organization has set a goal to eliminate cervical cancer by 2030. Together, let’s strive for a future where every woman has the chance to survive and thrive.”
