Rahul Banerjee: Off-the-Shelf In Vivo BCMA CAR-T in Myeloma Hits The Lancet
Rahul Banerjee, Assistant Professor at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center at the University of Washington, shared a post on X about a paper by Jia Xu et al. published in The Lancet:
“Now in big The Lancet – in vivo BCMA CAR in myeloma!
Off the shelf in a big way – clever design as low including don’t-eat-me and CD47 knockdown.
4 patients who received this did well; most had Gr3 CRS. Circulating out in 48 hours, peak at D10-17.
Exciting to see!”
Title: In-vivo B-cell maturation antigen CAR T-cell therapy for relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma
Authors: Jia Xu, Lin Liu, Philippe Parone, Wei Xie, Chunyan Sun, Zhaozhao Chen, Jishuai Zhang, Chunrui Li, Yu Hu, Heng Mei.
