Every New Treatment Begins With a Clinical Trial – Children’s Oncology Group

Children’s Oncology Group shared on LinkedIn:

“Every new treatment begins with a clinical trial.

Children’s Oncology Group’s Phase 3 trial, AALL2331, will begin enrolling patients later this year with newly diagnosed T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) and T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LL).

Researchers will evaluate whether adding the targeted therapy daratumumab can reduce relapse while exploring ways to lessen long-term side effects by safely replacing preventive brain radiation for some patients.

Read how this study builds on decades of collaborative research and why it could shape the future of treatment.”

“Every new treatment begins with a clinical trial. So true. Also in LMIC. We need more clinical trials.”
