Robert Orlowski, Deputy Chair of Lymphoma/Myeloma, Vice Chair of MM Research, and Florence Maude Thomas Cancer Research Professor at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, shared a post on X:
“Myeloma Paper of the Day: Predicting prognosis of AL cardiac amyloidosis by MRI and deep learning shows a C-Index of 0.91 & AUC of 0.95 in predicting 2.6-year survival (HR: 2.67), thus outperforming the Mayo model (C-Index=0.65, AUC=0.71).”
