Anmol Bajwa: Challenges and opportunities in ovarian cancer care
Anmol Bajwa, Healthcare and Life Sciences Consultant of Infosys Consulting and Research Assistant at World Ovarian Cancer Coalition, shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper she co-authored with colleagues, published in Journal of Cancer Policy:
“Our new paper is now published in the Journal of Cancer Policy!
Drawing on data from the 2024 Every Woman Study: LMIC Edition, in this work, we explore clinician perspectives on the barriers to ovarian cancer care and opportunities for improvement in 24 low- and middle-income countries.
The study reveals the need for patient-centered, contextually informed, and intersectoral strategies in cancer planning to improve ovarian cancer care quality and equity in LMICs.
This was a truly collaborative effort, and I’m especially thankful to the incredible team at the World Ovarian Cancer Coalition and the clinicians who made this possible.
Special thanks to Runcie C.W. Chidebe, Frances Reid and Clara MacKay.
For those interested in global health, ovarian cancer, and cancer control, you can read the full paper here.”
