
2025 NETRF Accelerator Award
The Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation (NETRF) Accelerator Award provides $800,000 USD over four years to support transformative research that significantly advances the understanding, detection, or treatment of neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). The award targets high-risk, high-reward projects that are aligned with NETRF’s 2024 Research Roadmap, focusing on early detection, novel therapies, and precision oncology.
Eligibility:

Applicants must hold an MD, PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree.

Must be faculty-level (Assistant Professor or higher).

Research must be conducted at a non-profit academic or research institution.

Open to international applicants.

Applicants from for-profit entities (e.g., biotech or pharma) are not eligible.

Only one proposal per Principal Investigator.

Projects must be distinct from existing funded work.
Funding:

800,000 USD total over 4 years ($200,000/year).

Indirect costs up to 10% included in the total award.

Funds may be used for PI salary (up to NIH cap), staff salaries, supplies, equipment, and research-related services.

Attendance at the NETRF Annual Research Symposium is required.
