Outside the Box Grant

Seed funding for bold, novel pediatric/AYA cancer ideas (e.g., AI-enabled diagnostics/coordination, care quality innovations, trial accessibility/efficiency) with strong potential for clinical translation.

Eligibility Criteria:

Open to postdocs/clinical fellows and independent investigators worldwide (hospital/university/private lab).
Must target one Focus Area and the Priority Area; non-pediatric-relevant and infrastructure proposals not reviewed.

Funding Details:

Up to USD 50,000 for 1 year; semiannual installments; no indirect costs.

Deadline:

LOI opens August 4, 2025; closes September 12, 2025 (3:30 PM EDT).
Full application (by invite) opens November 6, 2025; due January 6, 2026 (3:30 PM EST).
Earliest award notice April 1, 2026; start July 1, 2026.
