Ishwaria Subbiah: Whether it’s access to clinical trials or palliative care, cancer challenges are global, and so are our collaborations!

Ishwaria Subbiah recently shared on LinkedIn:

“To Brazil from New Orleans in just a weekend! Whether it’s access to clinical trials or palliative care, cancer challenges are global, and so are our collaborations!

  • Zoomed to South America, joining oncology and palliative care physicians across Brazil and Argentina to facilitate the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Center for Global Impact’s superb e-course that’s growing the bench of supportive care physicians across the world under Dr. Frank Ferris’ leadership!
  • Back in NOLA with the Louisiana Oncology Society’s Annual Cancer Congress uniting the state’s cancer care professionals – it takes thriving healthcare teams to overcome health disparities!
  • A quick hi to friends also there, especially Drs. Ray Page, Fay Hlubocky, and Marc Matrana, followed by an F1-worthy pit stop at Cafe du Monde, before the flight home (warm beignets in tow) to Nashville, in time for dinner with our crew and the day out with family.
  • All in all, a weekend that filled the cup, recharged the batteries. Bring on the week.”
