Honored to Host The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society team – UF Health Cancer Center
UF Health Cancer Center shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We had the honor of hosting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society team at our center today! They toured our clinical facilities, as well as the labs of Jonathan Licht, M.D., our director, and Zhijian Qian, Ph.D., co-leader of our Mechanisms of Oncogenesis research program.
Licht’s lab studies aberrant gene regulation as a cause of blood cancers and develops treatment strategies to reverse abnormal, cancer-causing gene functions. Qian’s lab is on the leading edge of studies on how changes in the chemical modification of RNA can contribute to the development of cancer.
Thank you to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for supporting our vital cancer research! New cancer therapies start in a lab or with data analysis, and we are so grateful for everything you do to advance cancer research on behalf of patients.”
